TIXREZ

is a B2B digital marketplace for tours & activities.

Solution:

Suppliers can list shows, attractions, tours, trips, experiences, events and transfers, and buyers can purchase the same 24/7 via a web browser / mobile app.

TixRez is also connected to a payment settlement platform, where it charges the customers for all purchases and settle the suppliers. In addition to content directly managed by the vendors, TixRez is also connected to multiple tours & activity aggregators / wholesalers via APls' on a net rate basis.

B2B users can mark up / add service fees on the fly prior to completing a booking.

3PL Platform

Problem:

We encountered a logistics company that needed to improve their logistics operation by reducing the manual work to provide a better service to customers and to scale its operation profitably.

Solution:

We developed a fully integrated cloud-based logistics and fulfillment platform that included an e-commerce system, inventory and warehouse management system that included pick andpack, dispatch processes and integration to 3 rd party delivery service providers.

CLUB MANAGEMENT PLATFORM

Problem:

During Covid, a leading Fitness club operator in South Asia with over 25 centers requested Rezgateway to develop an ERP system based on cloud technologies, that supported remote work and mobile app-based access to customers based on Covid protocols.

Solution:

The overall solution included a booking tool, QR code base access management system, a staff management system, equipment management, CRM, a communication tool, billing and payment module and an integration to an accounting system

ECO SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

PROBLEM:

Companies in the travel industry using legacy systems & processes not keeping up with technological advancements was finding it difficult to remain competitive & embrace new business and operating models.

Solution:

Rezgateway built a scalable web-based modernized system which was completely service-based using a microservices architecture that enabled the customer to connect to external services using REST API, a mobile responsive e-commerce platform, ETL systems to consume and convert raw data to operational and analytical data & built a rule-based algorithmic system.

With the ecosystem, the client was able to maintain their existing business as well as embrace new business models.

LEGACY SYSTEM MIGRATION TO SOA APPLICATIONS

PROBLEM:

Client required their legacy enterprise system to be responsive to business opportunities and to address system inflexibility, maintainability & IT manpower scarcity issues.

SOLUTION:

We converted a monolithic system with over 100 deeply coupled modules and over 300,000 lines of application code to a distributed microservice platform using AWS services and Netflix OSS as the backbone technology..

DATABASE MIGRATION

PROBLEM:

Supporting a new platform, a client had challenges in migrating PostgreSQL database version 8. x to 9. x without any disruption to the operation..

SOLUTION:

We supported the version upgrade of a system that housed 50+ database instances with 24 * 7 running system with over 200 million transactions per day. The migration included optimizing algorithms, converting existing replication, & monitoring programs.

API PERFORMANCE OPTIMISATION

PROBLEM:

Multiple companies were faced with system performance degradation and slow response times due to an increase in the load on their systems.

SOLUTION:

Company 1: Optimized several Java-based applications to reduce the memory footprint, CPU, 10 and database bottlenecks, by re-engineering the code and using java & performance analysis tools.

Company 2: Resolved database bottlenecks due to an increase in data volume and lo operations to optimize performance, using query optimizations, database structure redesign, building a cache layer with REDIS cache and database partitioning.

Company 3: Worked with several API systems to reduce the response latency from 25 seconds to less than 1 second, using downstream caching, map reduction and intelligent work routing.

AUTOMATING SOFTWARE RELEASES

PROBLEM:

Multiple companies were facing regular failed releases with rollbacks, software releases taking over 10 hours with disruption to their operations.

SOLUTION:

Company 1: transformed the release process from once a month, which took 10 hours, to "on-demand releases" and completed within 1 hour. We implemented CI-CD pipelines using Jenkins, QA automation using selenium, cannery deployments & converted artifact-based deployments to multiple environments.

Company 2: "On Demand” deployments successfully within 5 minutes, using blue/green deployment. Used Jenkins, infrastructure automation, database automation, QA automation & dynamic traffic routing.

SYSTEM SCALING PROJECT

PROBLEM:

A bottleneck for a company's growth was the existing systems and infrastructure could not be scaled at the rate business required.

SOLUTION:

Rezgateway scaled & migrated their systems capable of handling 100k search hits per day to 250 million hits per day by using application re-engineering, moving to a distributed architecture, database replication, partitioning, downstream caching and using NoSQL data modelling techniques.

INFRASTRUCTURE MONITORING

PROBLEM:

An Ecommerce business was experiencing many customers complaints due to its in-house Network Operations Center (NOC) was more reactive rather than proactive.

SOLUTION:

We converted the NOC's, Nagios-based infrastructure monitoring system to use ELK, Datadog, and Consul with Graffana dashboard to monitor over 200 instances of infrastructure, application behaviour, database behaviour, network connectivity, tracing and APM. In addition, we implemented AWS monitoring solutions with CloudWatch & related AWS services

INTEGRATIONS

PROBLEM:

Multiple companies - needed to upgrade their interfaces, and access content from multiple vendors in real-time.

SOLUTION:

Payment Gateways: Connected multiple payment services using Hosted, Non-Hosted, Api Integrated, and e-Wallets.

API Integrations: Connected to over 60 API providers on REST, SOAP, and RPC methods using transactional, published and batch processed modes.

WORKFLOW AUTOMATION TO OPTIMISE PROFIT

PROBLEM:

A travel wholesaler was manually checking all future arrivals (bookings) made on static contracted rates, with dynamic rates for the same period, to identify where dynamic rates were more advantageous than static rates. For such cases, they cancel and rebook at the new rates. This was very labour intensive and could not be done daily.

SOLUTION:

We automated this workflow, where a program checks dynamic rates for all future bookings and auto cancel and rebook if the dynamic rates were less than the static contracted rates. The company was able to increase profitability by almost 8.25% from this exercise.

CYBER SECURITY

PROBLEM:

A company kept investing in infrastructure assuming their infrastructure was insufficient to handle the load despite revenue not increasing.

SOLUTION:

We scanned the environment and detected the client's IT resources were used for cryptocurrency mining. We cleaned the malicious software and hardened the environments to prevent a recurrence. Thereafter we implemented a SIEM solution with a SOC operation to monitor the environment 24/7
