- The systems are designed and developed on J2EE technologies (Java 2 Enterprise
Edition) All user interfaces are browser based
- The core database tier is Oracle (commercial) or PostgreSQL (open source) with
the capability to support most of the other leading
databases
- The middle tier application services operate on any J2EE compliant application
server such as BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere (commercial)
and JBoss / Tomcat (open source).
- Applications are developed using the following technologies: Java, XML, Web
Services, JSP, Struts, Hibernate, Ajax, HTML, DHTML,
Cascading Style sheets, JavaScript and SQL.
- Use of Object Oriented design tools and methodologies.
- All user interfaces are being developed to conform to best practices in user
interface standards.
- Use of web services for external connectivity and data processing.
- Test driven development-using unit testing technologies such as Junit
- Distributed / multi team development using CVS (concurrent versions system)
- Rezgateway has its own system development process based on agile development
methodologies

sensitive information (SSL certificates including
VeriSign / Thawte certificates and digital IDs).

using secure e-mail using S/MIME.
